Born in Los Angeles, Michael Chulak obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from California State University at Los Angeles and a Juris Doctor from Ventura-Santa Barbara College of Law. Michael owned his own law firm from 1998 to 2020. He became a Certified Property Manager (CPM®) and general contractor in 1979, and a real estate broker in 1971. Michael Chulak has been a real estate, property management, homeowner association law, and real estate finance instructor at six California colleges including UCLA.

Michael Chulak has provided over 350 free homeowner association board training seminars in California since 1998.
